Grip / GaffER

Growing up, Destiny was surrounded by military influences as both her father and step-father served the US Army; learning Martial Arts at the age of 15 from Wesley. She called Frankfurt, Germany home for half her life and moved to San Antonio, Texas with her father, Luis, and his family.

Craving for a life of her own at the tender age of 19, Destiny moved to Red Wing, Minnesota. Throughout the next couple of years, she faced major heartache, tremendous pain of abuse, and cultural struggles; being the victim of a hate crime in 2008. But mustering up the strength she was taught by both her father and step-father, she pulled through and came out even stronger than she knew she could be. These experiences inspired her to tell her stories, and the stories of others through acting.

At the age of 24, Destiny started this new chapter in her life: acting. This passion landed her at John Robert Powers (JPR) for further coaching, during which she learned various ways of expression through acting.
